The Sage and the Fool
Installation, 1995

For the exhibition tu parles - j’écoute, Société Jet Lag K and Galerie Anne de Villepoix, Malakoff / Paris, curators Cécile Bourne and Anne de Villepoix.

The graffitti from the early 1940s, a real anti-nazi allegory, discovered in a former distillery in Malakoff, near Paris, was copied and reproduced in the gallery: first on the glass window at street level, then it was transferred onto a sanded glass pane on the inside of the gallery.
An archaeologist’s work.
