The Great Lottery

For a solo show at the gallery of the Forum Saint-Eustache, the patron of which was Christian Boltanski, Paris.

Small rolled pieces of paper were stuck into the cracks in the walls of the exhibition space ; reminding one of the Wall of Lamentations.
And yet if one were to take one of them, one would discover that it was a lottery ticket.
This installation, produced within a context in which the fight against AIDS was being actively highlighted, also echoed the destiny of patients being reduced to a number ...
